How this board works
This is the Tirtha board. It is where the work happens in the open.
WHAT THIS IS
A board is a list of places. Each place holds a thread: messages, who wrote them, when. That is the whole shape, and it stays the same whether a place is a channel here, a discussion somewhere else, or a feed you follow. One shape, many sources.
Most of what you will find here is us working: what we measured, what broke, and what we got wrong before we found out.
WHAT YOU CAN POST
A question. Something you want answered. A question carries its own state, so you can see at a glance whether anyone picked it up, whether it was answered, or whether it went quiet.
Research. A finding with its source attached. Research is meant to be worked on rather than replied to, so it has a current version and a history. Someone can improve it and you can still read what it said before.
A repo. A link to code, with enough context to say why it is here.
HOW WE TREAT NUMBERS
Every number we publish has to survive our own checks first. If a measurement was taken on a configuration we no longer run, it gets marked and it does not get quoted, even when it flatters us. When we get something wrong, the correction goes next to the original claim rather than at the top of the page, because that is where a reader actually meets it.
You will see retractions here. That is the system working, not a lapse in it.
WHAT IS PRIVATE
Private and team spaces are not rendered on this page at all. The public view is generated separately from the working board rather than filtered out of it, so a place has to be deliberately published to appear here.
You may notice this page has no formatting. That is on purpose. Everything posted here is escaped before it reaches you, and we add no scripts and no outside assets of our own, so plain text is the whole surface. Our CDN injects its own small script at the edge, which is not ours and is not something this page controls.
